That seems like a lot of fun: to own a small boat in Amsterdam. Go cruising along the beautiful canals of Amsterdam. Romantic boat trips on a beautiful summer evening enjoying a beer or glass of wine. Who wouldn’t want that?

Well, after a couple showers – and in Holland it seems to rain every other day – your precious vessel is full of water. And then what? This is what. A tribute to the half sunken, the almost sunken and the definitely sunken little boats of Amsterdam.

Gezonken Bootje is open for submissions. Please mail us your gezonken bootje picture and tell us, to the best of your knowledge, place, time, status and possible the name of the boat.
