Love this blog! Hope you’re having fun discovering other bootjes abroad.
My husband and I moved to Amsterdam from Atlanta, GA, USA a few months ago. I joked about getting an inflatable inner tube for floating around the canals, believing it impossible and outrageously expensive to own even a small boat in one of the best cities in Europe.
My husband surprised me last week when he announced he’d bought a bootje with his friend! Going 50/50, sharing the cost and responsibility of this cute, tiny thing with another couple, and the affordable boat tax/registration has made this little boat dream possible!
